Granted, because they are remotely piloted, the loss of life is dramatically reduced, and the risk is purely financial. However, a drone is also unable to make quick, ethical decision about whether or not to fire. For example, if a drone is set to fly over a specific set of coordinates and drop explosives on a set destination, what if the target is no longer there, and instead it's full of civilians?
